Best value on the board

Cheapest is one question. Best value — where the money buys something — is another.

DISCLOSURE — Coreage Rx pays this desk a commission when a reader signs up through our link. It buys no ranking, no score and no deletions. Method: how we rate. Full terms: disclosure.

Price is the heaviest weight in our rubric, but it is not the only one. These are the listings where what you pay buys something identifiable.

We score on true monthly cost, price honesty, clinical support, pharmacy sourcing and how hard it is to leave. Here is who wins on what.

Best overall — Coreage Rx

Compounded tirzepatide from $149 a month on the annual plan, $199 month-to-month. No membership renews behind it. No surcharge when your dose climbs. In a market where the advertised number is usually the opening bid, that is the story. Full review.

Best with insurance — Mochi Health

That is not a paradox. Mochi runs an insurance concierge that genuinely pursues coverage, and a successful claim moves your cost by an order of magnitude. Nothing else on the board treats that as core work. Full review.

Best straight deal — Zealthy

The $39 first month lowers the barrier without the usual reversal in month two. From there it is $151 and nothing else. Full review.

Best without a needle — Henry Meds

Weekly injection about $297. Sublingual around $249, with a $179 tier. The $179 is the number in the advertising. No membership on any of them, which is a genuine mark in their favour. Full review.

Best coaching — Noom

Microdosing means deliberately low doses, below the levels used in the trials that produced the weight-loss figures people have read. That is a legitimate clinical approach and a poor basis for a price comparison. Full review.

Best approved-only — Ro

That is a real editorial decision on their part, and it costs their customers real money. The Ro Body membership is $149 a month and contains no medication. Branded Zepbound is billed on top at roughly $299 to $499 a month through manufacturer self-pay channels. Full review.

More from the desk

  • Cheapest right now

Every programme sorted on what it bills, not what it advertises. Floor: $199/mo tirzepatide, $149/mo semaglutide.

  • Where the traps are

The biggest advertised-to-billed gaps on our board, and the programmes charging most for the same category of medication.

  • Six fee traps

Every advertised-to-billed gap on our board comes from one of these six structures. Learn them and you can read any of these sites in ninety seconds.

  • Tirzepatide vs semaglutide

A head-to-head trial settled the results question. The price question goes the other way.

  • The compounding rules

Cheap GLP-1s exist because of compounding. The FDA moved against it again in April. What that means for the board.
